Thanksgiving Fun - 238 miles

We got into Klamath Falls Monday night, the movers showed up at 9 am Tuesday morning to unload the truck and put all the furniture together. As soon as they left at about 2 o'clock we got BACK in the car and headed to Salem for Thanksgiving...as if we hadn't done enough driving already!

The kids had a great time doing all kinds of things with their cousins they haven't seen in a few years. Unlimited time playing Wii seemed to be one of the favorite pass times.Decorating cookies with Aunt Cindy was a big hit.The last night they got the craziest and had the BIGGEST and LOUDEST pillow fight in Grandma's living room. I laughed hysterically when I walked in to see what the commotion was, the kids were going nuts and Uncle Steve and Uncle Loren were just sittin' in the middle of it chattin'.Ashlyn had a blast with cousin Danielle who brought all her nail polish and did manicures for the little girls. And of course no family gathering for either side of our family is complete with out breaking out some games! Blake is happy to report that he and Grandma Kathy kicked some booty as pairs for Canasta.
Remember this picture taken in Grandma Kathy's backyard July 2003?I had it framed on a shelf for awhile along with one with all the cousins on the tractor. Well check this out...I can't believe how old he is getting! He had a blast cruisin' around mowing their lawn one morning.Even though we weren't excited to get in the car and drive another couple hundred miles, we were glad we were able to spend a few days with family for the holiday! Too bad our entire house is in boxes waiting to be unpacked when we get back into town.
