No Snowmen Here

This is what it looked like out our front door this morning...kind of a let down for the our first snow. The kids were giddy about it all morning though which made it difficult to get them out the door for school on time.The first thing out of Ashlyn's mouth when she looked out the window was, "Oh no Mom...how are you going to drive today?" Not sure if that was a knock at my driving abilities or if she would've said the same to Rick if he was taking them to school. I'm proud to say that I only slid once and that was because a car was stopped in the middle of the street as I came up over a hill and had to hit my brakes. Luckily I only slid for a second and didn't plow into the back end of the car...not that he didn't deserve it! Who stops in the middle of the street like that with snow on the road??
