At least not on our watch! The kids continue to take after Rick when it comes to rescuing turtles attempting to cross the street. We were on our way back into the neighborhood after school and there was a HUGE turtle trying to cross the road at the front gate of our neighborhood. Ashlyn is usually the one who picks them up, but this one was way bigger than she's use to and it had claws that were about 2 inches long...
...so Blake was the knight in shinning armor this time and carried Myrtle to safety.
And off she went down to the pond! One less turtle turned into roadkill...I say it was a pretty successful afternoon.
