Christmas Morning

The kids were very excited to come into our room Christmas morning to go down and see what Santa brought...they came in 5 minutes earlier that the allowed 6:30 but didn't even try to deny it when we called them out on it.
Blake has been asking for an Oregon Ducks football jersey for awhile, but since they are so expensive he hasn't gotten one...until he said "Money doesn't matter to Santa, I'll ask him!"  He was pretty excited when he went downstairs and saw that Santa came through.  Ashlyn asked Santa for a Baby Alive and was just as thrilled.
Another item on Ashlyn's list was a Furby. Everybody said we would regret it if we got it for her...so far so good.
Here she is in her new bathrobe we got her and the hat that Auntie Ann made for her.
Blake got quite a few books for Christmas, but these new Mike Lupica books from Grandma and Grandpa are his favorite.  He has QB1 finished already and is about half way done with True Legend...he said the only reason he isn't done with it yet was because he had to read War of the World for his English class during break...blah!
Ashlyn can't wait for a rainy day to use her new umbrella that she has been bugging for.
And who is excited to get SOCKS for Christmas?  Teenagers this year,  because of the Nike Elite Sock craze.  However, Blake already has quite a few pair so he asked for Oregon Duck and Chicago Cubs ones instead to go with his basketball shorts.
It was a pretty low key Christmas morning since it was just our little family, but we had a fun time watching each other open numerous presents, eat yummy food, having Rick's sisters over that afternoon for dinner and games and most importantly remembering the birth of our Savior.  Merry Christmas!
