We hit the beach today for the last time this year probably. I think we've been away from Oregon too long...it was 82 degrees with 73 degree water temps and it was too cold for our likings. We use to make fun of the locals who stopped going to the beach about the time school started when we'd go until about Thanksgiving...but we're getting a little spoiled from living here so long.

It was also pretty windy, so the kids opted to play in the small tide pools the majority of the time. The found some that were knee deep and made for hours of fun!

The currents were pretty strong today so boogie boarding was out of the question, especially for the kids. Blake had a good time body surfin' the waves with Dad though. I guess the turn of the weather just means it's time to bust out the hiking and camping stuff, our favorite Georgia winter activities!
