After church yesterday I decided to bust out the stuff to make and decorate Halloween cookies. I was sad when Ashlyn was the only one who was excited to participate in the festivities, but after she reminded Blake and Dad of the story of the Little Red Hen they reluctantly agreed to help.
Ignore that they are in their pajamas even though it's only 1 o'clock in the afternoon...when we were kids we'd put our pjs on after church and we've carried on the tradition.
Then we sat down and watched the Marmaduke movie, which the boys complained about as well...however, the kids loved the movie! I fell asleep about 20 minutes into it, but Rick stuck it out in order to confirm his opinion from the start..."it was a dumb movie with real dogs that they made talk - stupid!" Talk about some good ol' fashioned family fun!

My kids loved that movie. We had a free redbox code and that is what Zachary chose. Thanks for the cookie idea!
We watched that movie too. Mariah thought it was hilarious but she loves anything with dogs! That's cool that you guys continue with the PJ's after church! I remember those days!
