Pulled Off A Win

Blake made the All-Stars team this year and we got to travel to Asotin County and play in Clarkston, WA for the first game of Districts today.
We were behind 1-4 at the top of the 6th inning and pulled off a 5-4 win!  It was a pretty crazy last inning and the other team was SHOCKED to lose it at the end.
We don't have to play again until Monday night so we came home so Rick can work a half day and I have chemo tomorrow.  If they win tomorrow night they are off to the State Tournament, if we lose we play again Tuesday night and the winner of that game would be on to State.
We ended up going up yesterday afternoon and stayed in a hotel with a teammate from our ward.  The kids had fun swimming...
...and then we tried out a local tavern for dinner that everybody said was a must.  They had a 1lb burger that Rick tackled on his own, my friend and I split one and the 3 baseball boys shared one amongst themselves...we all felt pretty sick afterwards.
But not sick enough for the boys to meet up with kids from their Tom's Chevron team, who were in town for their All-Star games, and find a park to play some baseball and the little sisters to play on the playground.  What a fun weekend!
Here's to a little bit less stressful/close of a game tomorrow night!
