Now all of my complaining aside...round #2 went WAY better yesterday! It didn't really bother me until about the last 1/2 hour when I started getting bad hot flashes. Rick had a slow day at work so he snuck over for awhile and hung out...at one point I was talking to him and my head started feeling weird. After I finished saying what I had to say he started laughing and said none if it made any sense...I knew it was hard to connect my thoughts but I didn't think it was totally incomprehensible...guess I was wrong! When I got home I felt pretty good, just tired. I was able to eat pretty well, but the weird tingling and cramping of my hands started up pretty quickly. Plus last night I had my lips and tongue go numb...talk about my speech sounding weird! Then at one point Ashlyn was playing a game with me and my whole left side of my face went numb and droopy...freaked her out. A couple of times today my lips and tongue had issues and my speech was awful, luckily it only lasts for a minute or so. Feeling pretty tired after work I came home and slept for a few hours and didn't have much appetite for dinner...my doctor suggested sitting in front of the TV to take your mind off the food and eat, it worked pretty well and I was able to eat a decent dinner. I think this round went a lot better since I walked in feeling a lot better...basically all healed from both surgeries, where last time I still felt like crap and still wasn't sleeping good at night. I am DEFINiTLY ready to hit the hay tonight, but the bishopric is coming over. It is a good thing I got a good nap this afternoon, cause last time it was a chemo week I was lucky to make it to 8 o'clock...they aren't coming until 8:45.

I'm so glad it was better the second time, though I'm sure it's still really tough. We continue to pray for you and your family!
