This past Saturday Blake's baseball team won their last game of the season, giving them a 19-2 record! This also earned them 1st place in the league and a #1 seed for the City Tournament that starts this Saturday. Way to go Tom's Chevron!
Our second game of the season we got BLOWN out by the Baker Boyer team and were told that without a doubt that team would be #1 this year and we would have to battle a couple of other teams over 2nd place...we played that team two other times during the season and beat them each time! It was a LONG season with multiple games a week, practice Monday-Friday for 1 1/2 hours and 1 1/2 hour pre-game practice, but Blake really had a lot of fun and was blessed with an AMAZING coach who has coached this team for 17 years and really gave Blake the instruction he needed to develop into a better ball player. This next week is gonna be nail biting watching them play in the tournament, wish 'em luck!
