Last week we were in the low 90's here and I QUICKLY learned that heat does NOT mix with chemo and was miserable! So we decided to head up to the mountains where it was only in the high 60's and let the kids bike around the lake.
We took a picnic lunch and had a great afternoon away from the heat...but it really gave me the camping bug being up there smelling the pine trees and fresh air. However, with my chemo side effects camping wouldn't be much fun this year, errrr.
