Our school's gym is pretty small so they have the concerts during the day, knowing that all parents won't be able to come, which helps with seating. Unfortunately, that means the classes who aren't in the program can't go and watch either...namely MY class. Luckily we WERE able to watch the rehearsal though!
Ashlyn and a couple of her friends were selected to accompany the 1st graders on the xylophones. She was sooo excited since she has been to many of Blake's Rock-n-Rhythm concerts. She did great and had a lot of fun doing it.
The closing song was a beautiful song about the importance of music and they did a great job with the sign language that went along with it.
