Blake has Scout Day Camp all this week. Our Scouting Program didn't run very well in Georgia, so this is the 1st time he has been able to participate. He missed yesterday since we were out of town, but jumped in full throttle today. I was asked to help out today, so here are a couple of pictures that I took....
They used all kinds of REALLY big saw for various wood projects. Today was building boats for their races tomorrow. Blake REALLY lacks in the motor skills area and he had already smashed his thumb in a previous activity all black/blue and 1/2 the nail was gone...but he didn't have to play the gimpy that he was playing. I finally had to walk away from his using the saw and have somebody else help him...I am surprised/happy to report that he walked away with all 10 fingers!
Another rotation was guns...just bb guns, but still. Blake has gone shooting with my dad multiple times, but last time he got his finger smashed some how and had to be forced to participate today. He ended up having a blast of course and got all 10 shots on the target the 1st time, best in his group! Throughout the day I was texting my Dad commenting that I'll be shocked if Blake makes it out in one piece by the end of the week...his response - "Moms shouldn't be invited to stuff like this!" It's a good thing they don't let us come to Boy Scout Camp...as my Dad said, "What happens at camp, stays at camp." Moms don't need to know what crazy things they do...Eesh!

Travis has told me stories of Scout camp that involve knife throwing and fire!! Good luck with that one! We still have 2 years before scouts!
Yep, probably shouldn't invite the moms!
