This weekend we headed over to Eastern Oregon for the 1st time in 7 years and boy has everything changed! I was soooo excited to get to eat at our favorite USA Subs with their YUMMY cheese fries and their AMAZING subs. Rick complained that I insisted on going, claiming it was the same as Subway...until he took a few bites that is!
Then it was time to get the 4 wheelers out...the kids had a blast!
Blake took a shot at driving it himself. He was pretty nervous at first and got frustrated when he got off the track a little and got stuck, but after we made him stick with it he got the hang of it and didn't want to get off. He looked sooo little on the big ol' thing!
Since Ashlyn's birthday was a few days before we got there and Blake's is next week, they decided to have a little birthday party for the kids. Aunt Cindy was even brave enough to let Ashlyn help decorate the cake...she said they were just freestylin' it and it didn't have to be perfect, but she was way more patient that I can be when I'm decorating cakes!
Here's the finished product! Turned out really cute...but here's what it looked like when we cut into it..
...even the inside was crazy colored! The kids loved it! Thanks Aunt Cindy!
It's so nice to be back in Oregon and be with a few hours to drive and visit family, thanks for letting us come a crash for a few days!
