...was the rendition of "Happy Birthday" that Ashlyn insisted we sing to her this year.
I can't believe she's 6 already...okay not officially until tomorrow, but I have to be at Youth Conference so we talked her into celebrating a day early. She was sooo excited to wake up this morning to her tiara cake that I made her after she went to bed last night.
Opening presents was of course the high light of the day, but Aunt Shannon's stumped her the most. She couldn't figure it out and it drove her crazy ALL day. It was also the only one that she jumped up and down after opening...good job Aunt Shannon a necklace was THE MAIN thing she kept asking for!
Even though her own set of scriptures isn't very exciting, she was thrilled when she opened them. She asked for a set for Christmas...AFTER I had done all the shopping, so it had to wait for her birthday. She also got a new dress, her very 1st watch and Lady and The Tramp. All around it was a fun day for out little birthday girl...I can't believe she's 6, holy cow time flies!

Hey Madison and Brynn have that exact same skirt that Ashlyn has on. Bring it this summer! Her box is on the way! I hope she likes it!
