It's About Time

At last night's Pack Meeting Blake was awarded his Bobcat award...I know he's almost 10 years old and we're a little behind the times.  In our defense - when we lived in Georgia the Cub Scout program hardly existed and Blake only attend 2 times...needless to say he's a little behind.  His den leader said the tradition is to  pin it on the boy with him upside down...easier done if they earn it right when they turn 8 like you're suppose to!  So it took Dad and his leader to hold him up while I did the pinning...he was laughing and wiggling like crazy so I ended up jabbing myself in the finger.  Ignore that I was pinning it to a t-shirt, Blake STILL does not have a scout shirts...we're slackers, what can I say??  In our defense they don't have a place to buy them here in town.  Hopefully we'll get to Medford this weekend and can pick one up!
