To say that Ashlyn has been sooooo excited about the Royal Wedding for the past few weeks would be an understatement! And ya would've thought it was Christmas Eve last night when we tucked her into to bed. Due to the time difference we had to DVR it and watch it after school and it almost killed her. She was soooo excited to turn it on after school and was giddy while she was glued to the tv to watch it...a real Prince and Princess, the castle, horse drawn carriage, the long dress. the kiss etc...it was just like watching Cinderella. As I'm writing this she's playing dress up with Rick, here's tidbits of what I'm hearing...
- "I have to get you ready to go to the wedding Daddy."
- "You need a REALLY big hat to be able to go...the queen's wasn't too big though."
- "A tiara is what you need now!"
- "Momma will ya help me lay out these scarfs for the carpet to walk in on?"
- "Look at my Queen dress...Daddy how about we get you the furry pink one to put on!"
- "Daddy ya need some big glasses now, the Queen had some BIG glasses today!"
It was fun to watch the wedding and all the hoopla with her and to see her excited about a "real Prince and Princess" getting married. Boy do I love little girls, they're so fun!

ya, where are those pics? How cute!
Cat was pretty stoked too! I had it on yesterday morning and she woke up early enough to see the last half of the ceremony. It was fun to have someone who enjoyed it with me!

Yeah, Rick was hanging out with sleep shorts and just his g-top...told him he was sooooo lucky that I couldn't take a picture! She had him in a a dress, shawl, glasses, HUGE hat, tiarra, heels (that his toes barely fit in) a boquette of flowers, it was hilarious!
