Ashlyn is coming along on her reading and is excited to read longer books. Her favorites from the last 2 weeks are the Robert Munsch books. My mom has bought her some in the past, but now that she can pick one up and read it herself they are so much better! Her favorite so far is "Smelly Socks" but she got "The Sandcastle Contest", "Aaron's Hair", "Andrew's Loose Tooth" and "We Share Everything" from the library yesterday, so we might have a new favorite soon. It's fun for her to be reading so well and to notice authors that she likes when she's browsing the shelves to pick a book at the library. I can't believe how big she is getting!

I haven't read any of those, so we'll have to check them out. Cat just had her first exposure to Amelia Bedelia and LOVED it. We'll definitely be getting more of those books next time we go to the library.
