The kids have been talking about April Fool's Day for weeks now, so I couldn't resist playing a few pranks on 'em!
The first was the funniest in my opinion and boy did I have to be sneaky! Blake didn't even flinch as I drew his mustache and goatee...Ashlyn woke up though, but I just acted like I was pulling her covers up for her. However, this morning the joke ended up being on me - Ashlyn wouldn't wash hers off! I finally drew the line and made her wash it off at about 1:30 when we had to run errands.
Tana do remember this prank? I still laugh my head off every time I tell the story of us freezing EVERY pair of your underwear while you're were at swimming lessons one day! These were Blake's that I put in the freezer last night and then I swapped them out while he was in the shower this morning......
...again the prank ended up being on me - he just put the old stinky ones he took off to take a shower and was going to be stinky all day. He was kind of grouchy when I made him go in his room and get redressed with a clean pair out of his drawer.
Rick had to shoot down Blake's plan last night to pull a prank on me - he wanted Rick to put a bag on my head after I fell asleep so I'd wake up in the morning and still think it was night time...too dangerous and I'm pretty sure I'd realize I had something on my head! The kids did take food coloring to my toothpaste this morning, talk about NASTY looking! I however had the last laugh, because I had already covered their toothbrushes with salt! We've never done anything for April Fool's Day, but boy I can't wait for next year now that the kids are old enough to have fun with it!

Too funny! I wonder what Travis did this year. He was always all about April Fools pranks.
That's so fun! It would be cool to be in a house with other pranksters on April Fool's Day. I'm the only one around here, and it gets a bit lonely, and I kind of feel like the bad guy always playing tricks on everyone else. So I laid pretty low this year. (Just a friendly prank on C & J this morning.) Hopefully my family will join the fun soon!
