Yesterday at Target, Blake found a deck of Diet Coke playing cards on the dollar aisle...today, we have a casino in our living room, family style of course! We started with Go Fish and Slap-Jack, then we moved on to War, which Ashlyn LOVES. (Maybe because she has beat Blake each time!) Next on the agenda (after Ashlyn goes to bed, since she will be mad that she can't play it) - Black Jack...to practice math skills of course! I used it with my 3rd and 4th grade ESL students on occasion to practice their addition, they loved it!
