...and school is back in session in 10 days - yipee!! We decided to head down to our favorite beach for the day yesterday one last time before Blake goes back to school. (I forgot the camera, sorry!) Ashlyn was finally brave enough to learn to body surf - with floaties of course, since she isn't tall enough to touch in that deep of water. It was pretty cute, she sit out there saying "It's comin', it's comin'...wave, momma, wave!" And the wave would pick her up as she screamed the entire time and then she'd laugh for the ride. Blake was able to get some good boogie boardin' in and we had a total of 7 dolphins that swam by us while we were out there for the afternoon, about 50-100 feet from us. Then we drug our sandy, sunkissed selves (Dad got sunburnt though) back home and busted out our new grill we bought this week - finally we can sit on our back porch and grill! All in all it was a great Saturday, plus we're lucky enough to still have a couple of months, weather wise of summer, even though school starts back up soon.
