Okay, I realize that I'm getting up there - my birthday is next week and it's the big 3-0, however....when I first started college it was a really big deal to have your own computer and not have to sit in the computer lab all day writing papers. When Rick started Optometry School that wasn't good enough, they each had to have a laptop to bring to class. Now, as I start my second semester of graduate school, I get an e-mail from a professor telling me that the lectures are going to be podcasts via iTunes...now you need an iPod for school??? Luckily I can access it from my computer, but I hate to think what the technology requirements are going to be when Blake and Ashlyn start college! It took me a half an hour to download the program, but now I have no idea how to find what I need - good thing Rick's good at this stuff!
