Blake headed back to school this morning - yipee!! He's been counting down for a couple of weeks and yesterday we had hourly updates on the countdown all day long. Needless to say he's very excited to be back and to be a big 1st grader. He ended up having 6 kids in his class from last year and luckily they were all the top of the class kids with no behavior problems. I don't know his teacher Mrs. Madala very well, but her and her family are patients of Rick's and he says they're great. She's another southern lady so it will be interesting to see what kind of lingo and phrases that he comes home with this year - last year he learned a lot of them, which have now become staples in his vocabulary. It's pretty funny when your kindergartner has to give you vocabulary lessons - on a regular basis!
