"Potty Time!"

This is Ashlyn's new phrase she blurts out everytime the timer on the microwave goes off. Yesterday when we went to the store to buy diapers and she said she wanted underwears instead, so I decided to give it a try and let her pick a pack of the Disney Princess ones. We put them on after we picked Blake up from school yesterday and still today - no accidents! Of course she wore a diaper to bed last night and it was wet this morning, but one step at a time. Every time she gets off the potty we go and set the timer for 20 minutes and she knows when it goes off she needs to go and try. Keep your fingers crossed, maybe we're done with diapers! Rick thinks I'm crazy to try this young, but he said when she turned 2 that if I potty train her before she turns 3 I can do what I want with the diaper money each month until her 3rd birthday. Talk about motivation - that's $50 a month...for 9 and 1/2 months, if she catches on now....cha-ching!
