Middle of November we were finally able to move into our new house! We had some issues with the paperwork so we aren't able to close until February, but we were lucky they let us rent it until then.
We picked up the keys to the new place to go check it out after school the day before we were suppose to move in, only to be surprised by how dirty they left it.
Rick and Blake were on a camp out, so it was up to Ashlyn and I to scrub the new house...needless to say I was NOT a happy person!!!! Ashlyn was such a good little helper though and had fun scrubbing right along side of me until after 11 o'clock that night.
The next day was moving day....it is SOOOOO nice to have older kids to help moving this time!!! They were troopers and even in the rain were happy to help.
Since we weren't able to sign papers yet on the house we aren't able to paint and stuff like we want so we don't feel like we are completely moved in and settled yet since we haven't hung things on the wall...would be silly to and then have to take it down to paint. Besides that though we are pretty much settled and loving all the space of our new place!
