We were able to get Dad to help decorate the tree this year!! As we were putting on all the ornaments Blake asked why we don't have an all color coordinated/matching ornaments Christmas tree...as they pulled each ornament out of the box and laughed about memories it brought up or told the story behind it - especially ones they made at school when they were younger or ones from grandparents that were picked out specifically for them, he quickly understood why. It might not be a tree worthy of the front page of the JCPenny Christmas catalog - but it is like a scrapbook of memories for our little family.,
Ricked ask why after 15 years we STILL didn't have a tree skirt...my response was I couldn't find one that was under $50 that I liked...he told me to not be so silly and just go buy one. I was excited to find one at TJMaxx for $24 and love it!
