Opening Day is here again for softball season! Ashlyn was excited to be able to have Rainy and Linzy from school and her Primary class on her team this year.
Since it was Opening Day they just play one inning of each game, but they lucked out this year and had two games this morning.
Ashlyn played 2nd base the first game and 1st base the second game, making a total of 3 outs...there were only 6 outs to be made between the two games since they were only 1 inning today. Way to go Ashlyn, making 1/2 of the outs!
And each of her at bats were sweet hits...unfortunately they still have the rule of only taking 1 base no matter how hard you hit it. She was pretty grouchy! It will be a fun season to watch her shine out on the field...she loves every minute of it!
