Duck Gear Hoarders

On Saturday after Ashlyn's Opening Ceremony for softball, two softball games and Blake's baseball game we headed to Eugene for a quick trip to the Athletic Surplus Sale for the first time.
It was a BEAUTIFUL drive through the Gorge.
Which made for a pretty sunset as we got close to Portland.
We had to make a potty stop and the kids had a fun time taking a few pictures.
We got up bright and early to get in line by about 9:30 for our lottery tickets and ended up being about in the first 100 people in the door after season ticket holders.
Everybody said we were crazy for making the long trip to Eugene , but we made quite the haul! 4 pairs of sweatpants, a raincoat, 3 jackets, 2 batting helmets, a fleece, a game worn baseball jersey, 6 pairs of elite socks, baseball stir ups, baseball warm up jacket, 3 T-shirts, a polo, batting gloves, 2 Dri-fit shirts, a thermal heat shirt, a softball shirt and 2 pair of basketball shorts. All Nike Oregon gear with the tags still on them...$275 was all the damage was!! Who is crazy now?
Ashlyn and I were excited to even score something.
Blake was pretty excited to find a Jimmy Sherfy game worn
baseball jersey - one of his favorite players!
We laughed pretty hard when we laid out our loot on the couch when we got home.  It was such a fun day...counting down the days until we can go next year!
