"Guess I'm an Adult Now"

 Friday night after baseball we got Domino's for dinner...as Ashlyn was eating she kept commenting on how crunchy the pizza was.  Pizza crunchy??  I asked her if her tooth had fallen out...the one that has barely been hanging by a thread and has been able to pull down like a drawbridge for weeks now.
 Sure enough!  That's what she had been chewing on, she's was lucky she didn't swallow it!
 It left a REALLY big whole in her mouth and looks silly.  She's excited that it's the first step of MANY for her to get braces like Blake...oh how excited we are at the thought of paying for them!
The next morning she woke us up at 5:30 with news that the tooth fairy had left her $5 and that the adult tooth was already coming in.  "Guess that makes me an adult now Mom!"

That kid cracks me up. Does she realize that braces are NOT fun? That is a rich tooth fairy you have that comes to your house. I guess our tooth fairy better start saving up.

I never had braces, but I heard enough of Jim's whining that I am pretty sure they're not something to look forward to. Tell her to start saving up her tooth fairy money to help foot the bill. :)
I do love that she thinks she's an adult now!

Our tooth fairy gives $1.50 and the father too th fairy thinks it's way to much!

haha... our tooth fairy brought two quarters and Cat should be thankful it was that much! :-) Yeah for Ashlyn being all growed' up.
