District Pinewood Derby

 Today was the District Pinewood Derby that Blake earned a place in.  He was mad that he had to miss a baseball game to participate but had fun once he got there.  In his heat he took 3rd place two times....

 ...and 1st place two times.  Look how much he beat those other cars by!

Can ya tell he was excited at his 1st place runs?  They said they would take the top finishers of each heat for the second round, that those winners would go to the finals.  However, in the two heats there were 3 cars that were undefeated so they went from 22 cars in the first round to 3 for the finals and didn't do anything in between...not sure how fair that was and it made a lot of parents mad.  Oh, well he had fun and that's all that matters.
