Ashlyn was NOT very excited that she started swimming lessons again this week! She took one session this fall in Georgia before we moved and passed it, however she was NO WHERE near ready for the next level in my opinion which required her to be a confident swimmer swimming the length of the pool. So when we moved here and got a YMCA membership again I had her repeat the same level. They only had 2 levels in Georgia, I guess they have 6 here...I think she could've handled a higher class. Tonight is lesson #2 so we'll see how it goes, but I might have to have her bumped up to another class.
This was her before class...notice the smile? Way better than last time she took swim lessons and was TERRIFIED the first day.
She knows how to float but panics when the teacher steps away from her...and sinks.
This picture is my FAVORITE I took by far! The teacher asked them to practice their kicks and do it as hard as they could...I love Ashlyn's smile and her obliviousness to the fact that she's pounding her teacher...the teacher's face - priceless!
