A Rescate!

Ashlyn would've made Diego proud today...she rescued a turtle trying to cross the road. Rick see's them all the time and will stop and take them to safety. However, this morning after dropping Blake off at school Rick wasn't around, so Ashlyn stepped up to help. I was shocked she wasn't scared to pick it up and carry it to safety... not without asking if she could take it home of course.

She was excited when she could see his head and feet popping out, but was sad that he wouldn't come out all the way. It's claws were HUGE, so I'm glad he stuck to himself.
