Friday was field day at CB Greer and Blake's class picked The OJ's as their team name to go along with their orange tie-dyed shirts. They are proud to have claimed 1st place in the hula jump, potato and soccer relays, 2nd place in tug of war...the other events, no comment.
Blake was pretty funny to watch with the egg relay. He'd drop the egg and while he was picking it up would walk as fast as he could to cover as much ground as possible before putting the egg back on the spoon.
The potato relay he was pretty good at and helped his class out with their 1st place victory.
Blake and his friend Eric, anchoring the rope at the end were pulling so hard the final round, that when the other class won and dropped the rope to hoot-n-holler about their victory...they end up on their butts! Hot and sweaty boys + dirt = muddy boys....they were so gross when they stood up!
Even though it was about 85 that day with 95% humidity we had a good time watching the events...summer is definitely here.
