Tonight was Blake's last baseball game of the season, finally! They played 14 games this year with MANY hours of practice...it's getting too stickin' hot in southern Georgia to be playing baseball. Blake had a great time this year and was excited to be the 2nd baseman. He and 2 of his classmates were by far the best players on the team, however the other boys age out of the league this year...Blake still has one more year. So he's hoping to be the 1st baseman next year and really dominate. He was already THE BIGGEST kid in the league this year, but one of the youngest...next year will be interesting.
He was pretty excited about the trophies that Coach Jimbo (is that a true southern name or what!) picked out for them, the biggest of his ongoing collection.
