I can't believe that Blake turned 13 yesterday...a teenager!
(Although he claims Ashlyn acts the part more than he does)
Since it was Sunday we got Papa Murphy's the night before to cook/eat after church.
Then had cake and ice cream...for some reason this picture won't rotate, errr!
Then it was present time. He has been wanting a new duffel bag to take to school during baskeball/baseball seasons where he has to change clothes before practice.
The second gift SHOCKED him completely....
...a new Cubs hat. The one he wanted is a flat camouflaged bill - UGLY! And we told him so since he saw the team wear it Memorial Day weekend. So he decided he would save his own money to get it since we were adamant we wouldn't be spending OUR money on it. It was the ONLY thing he has been talking about so we caved and got it...now he just has to walk 5 feet behind us in public when he wears it.
Then Grandma and Grandpa got him a new puzzle that he is already working on...
..which made us laugh cause he asked us to take him to the store the other day to find a new one to keep him busy this summer but didn't find any he liked. 1,000 piece Autzen stadium will keep him bus y for quite awhile! Happy birthday Little Man...we can't believe you are 13 already! We sure enjoy being your parents and watching you develop into a talented young man and cheering you on in all your extra curricular activities.
