Blake made the All-Star team again this year! He sure had fun playing even though their run at the District Tournament was short lived and just here in town.
It was fun to see the boys get together from all the teams and play as one, rather than competing against each other.
Blake and his friend Lucas who play on the same team during the regular season were the only ones to get hits their ENTIRE first game. Needless to say, it didn't end very well...0-11.
Their second game they hit better but left a TON of kids on base and ended up losing 2-13 and were out of the tournament.
Blake ended up pitching the best out of all of our pitchers, but unfortunately it wasn't enough when you can't get any runs.
The rest of the tournament he played a MEAN 1st base and had some REALLY sweet plays that he was able to make because of his height.
It sure is sad that his Little League career is over because it sure is a lot of fun to be out there watching the league through out the season. On to Babe Ruth!
