I can't believe that Blake turned 12 a couple of weeks ago! Yesterday was his first day in Young Mens and during class he was ordained a Deacon and is looking forward to passing the Sacrament. Where has the time gone?
He made the All-Stars baseball team again this year and opening day was on his birthday so we let him open his gifts the day before we left to head up to the tournament. He had been bugging for a pair of wireless Beat headphones for a long time and was shocked when he opened the box to see that we got him a pair, talk about one excited little guy. Then the rest of the weekend was all baseball. After his last game of the tournament we headed to a family reunion with my family in Idaho so he wasn't able to have friends over for a party until this past weekend.
I can't believe our little guy isn't so little anymore! We sure are excited that he is part of our family and enjoy watching him grow and develop all the talents he has been given, he is a great kid!
