Last weekend we headed to Salem after Rick got off work Friday night so the boys could attend Fan Day down at Autzen again. I knew I wouldn't be up to being on my feet for that long, let alone dealing with the heat, so Rick and Blake went with Uncle Steve, Aunt Lisa and cousin Emily...while Ashlyn, cousin Julie and I stayed home and went to lunch at Red Robin with Grandma Kathy and to play at the park.
That left Rick to take pictures to document their fun...I wasn't expecting any pictures, but we ended up with a few. Here is Blake on the center line with his Duck football he bought to get autographed during the event.
They had a great time...and the bragging rights that Rick got De'Anthony Thomas' AND Marcus Mariota's autographs on the football he bought to put in his office...even though Blake only got Marcus Mariota's for his, darn it. Uncle Steve was in line for him with his ball and the poster he wanted signed...everybody ahead of them got 2 things signed but when Uncle Steve tried to get Blake's ball signed along with his poster one of the event staff got after him for trying to more than on thing signed...even though multiple people ahead of him had done it DARN IT!!
He was still tickled pink and couldn't wait to get home to display it amongst all his trophies in his room...now we just need to find a case to put them both in so they don't get ruined.
