Rick had a 4 day weekend for the 4th of July so we decided to head to Boise to visit my sister and her family. The day we left was the day I got my pump off from chemo so I was pretty tired and had very little energy. Since I wasn't feeling great we had a very low key weekend...every time we got in the car to go some place I fell asleep.
We went to their 4th of July parade. The kids had fun running out and getting the candy they threw. My youngest niece even got her picture taken and it was in the newspaper the next morning.
The little girls had fun playing in their kiddie pool in the back yard...
...and Blake had fun playing games with Uncle Devin and baseball with Dad.
Friday we went out to the reservoir to getting away from the crazy heat.
The kids had a blast floating around on Aunt Shannon and Uncle Devin's lounge chair. It was a fun weekend to get away and spend time with family even if I slept through the firework show and didn't get any pictures...we got there over an hour before it started so I was asleep WAY before the show started. Thanks for letting us come...see ya in a few weeks!
