Blake FINALLY got his braces off on Monday! He was only 2 appointments away from getting them off before we moved, so we decided to not switch orthodontist and make the haul down there...which was fine in October, not so much this week with all the snow that Rick had to drive in to get there! It turned a 7 hour drive into a 10 hour drive. Here's the before shot from April 2011....

Now we just have to wait for the rest of his teeth to fill in...the four that they made us pull BEFORE he got the braces on which have STILL not come in. So glad we rushed and paid over $125 a tooth to hurry and get them out for the new ones to be able to come in! And then he'll be ready for phase 2, but the doctor said to wait until he's 12 to give his mouth a little rest...he looks so grown up now!
