Our local bowling alley participated in the national free summer bowling program for kids this summer. In my kids' opinion free summer bowling was better than the free summer movies...I hate bowling so I cheered them on from my seat and took lots of pictures.
I could never convince Ashlyn to try and throw the ball herself (not even Granny style) she preferred the rack method.
Ashlyn had this CRAZY and VERY LONG dance she did each time she knocked down lots of pins. I thought it was hilarious and snapped many pictures of it...Blake thought it was very embarrassing!
Blake's high score was 110 and Ashlyn's was 86. It was fun to watch how the progressed throughout the summer. We went yesterday and Blake got multiple spares and two strikes in the two games we played. Since the program runs through October, I'm sure we'll go a few more times after school...oh joy!
