The Big 33...Eeesh!

Man yesterday added another year to how old I'm getting...blah! However, we had a really fun day. We got up and drove down to our favorite beach right over the GA/FL border and hung out with friends ALL DAY and have the sunburns to prove it.
The waves were AWESOME which made for some really fun boogie boarding. It looks like Blake caught the wave here and had great ride, but Dad messed up the timing darn it and had the wave crashed on his head.Ashlyn didn't spend much time boogie boarding but enjoyed the waves crashing on her over and over all day long. Rick also taught her to body surf which she thought was pretty fun.Then we went out to eat at The Crab Trap out on the island. I'm not a seafood person but they have TASTY hushpuppies and the BEST steak ever! Rick enjoyed flounder and the kids got chicken strips

And lastly we went home for the traditional Dairy Queen cake......the kids thought they were pretty funny! (Ignore the typo on the cake, gotta love those uneducated Southerners!) All in all it was a great day!
