Ever since we've lived down here we've gone to the beach for a bike ride on Christmas Eve. This year it was a little chilly, but we bundled up and drove over. We forgot that they were shooting the new X-Man movie out on Jekyll Island until we got there and saw the set!
Another group of people were there taking pictures as well and one of them climbed the fence to get better shots...after they left I asked Rick to give me a boost and proceeded to scale the fence myself.
Just as I got to the top to look over, a pair of security guards came up over the dune! "Oh crap!" was all I could say and quickly tried to get down. However, Rick thought I was falling and kept trying to boost me back up!
After I mangaged to get down Rick called them over and chatted with them. They ended up taking our camera through the fence and taking pictures for us.
We've never seen any of the X-Men movies, but we'll sure see this one since we've been on the set. How cool is that!
The scene looked like a spaceship wreck of some sort and somehow I didn't get a picture of the main part of the wreckage! A HUGE green ship that had a tunnel to go in/out of...darn it!
