Today was the Opening Day Softball Jamboree! (They only play a 1 inning game on Opening Day) Ashyn was pretty nervous since she is in the next level up this year, which means the kids pitch and they have strike outs/umpires, but she did great!
She was the 2nd baseman today, which was a fun change since every year she is her team's 1st baseman.
She had quite a few plays come her way and even made some outs.
Batting was what she was most nervous about.
She hit a grounder and got thrown out before she got to 1st base, but was excited for an RBI.
And the best part about it all is she is on the team as 2 of her BFFs for the 3rd year in a row - Rainy and Linzy. It is gonna be a fun season!
