Rick's brother and his family came to visit us last weekend for an unexpected last minute visit! After going to Ashlyn's soccer game bright and early Saturday morning, followed by Blake's baseball game we headed out to Palouse Falls for some hiking and to see the big water fall.
Even though the hike was pretty steep, and I think all the kids but Blake fell at least once, we had a fun time.
We were surprised how low and calm the water was compared to when we hiked it last time on a winter day...it was a totally different river and much smaller waterfall.
We all made it out to the point to peak over to see the falls...Uncle Steve and Rick made us a little nervous getting a little too close for our liking though. We had a fun picnic dinner and then hurried home to watch the Ducks play the Cougars. Thanks guys for coming to visit!
