A couple of weeks ago I received the sad news from my sister-in-law that my close friend from high school was in the hospital in ICU and died later that week. What a shock to have somebody from school already die! Unfortunately, I went to high school "back in the day" as Ashlyn says, so we didn't have the advantage of cameras on cell phones so looking back in scrapbooks I didn't have a lot of pictures of Kimmie which made me sad.
Kimmie even made hiking Multnomah Falls in the rain fun.
This was from a fun trip to the beach in Seaside when she came to visit me in college.
We had quite the dance party in my living room with my roommates that night. That was one thing that was brought up MANY times about Kimmie at her funeral was how she was always the life of the party and could really bust a move!
There are sooo many fun memories of Kimmie...all the summers at Girls Camp, giving Brother Raleigh a run for his money in Seminary, many Friday night movie parties and all the drama that came along with calling and inviting the boys, late night trips to Shari's, "cruising the gut", Stake Dances every month, sleep overs, football games, Color Guard road trips, getting our ears pierced at the mall on a band trip (even though I chickened out last minute) shopping in Tri-Cities, dressing up for Homecoming Week and many nights of t.p.ing...the list can go on and on.
She was a great friend to everybody and her laugh was very contagious! Kimmie you will be greatly missed!
