Today was Opening Day for Ashlyn's soccer season and boy was she excited!
This year she bumped up to the next level/age bracket which meant a MUCH bigger field and goals.
She was pretty nervous to play goalie since she got her fingers stepped on towards the end of the season last year but quickly got over it and had a lot of fun playing the position.
Luckily we had all 10 kids there today because it was HOT and the kids were not use to to the bigger field so we subbed out our players A LOT.
They STILL don't keep score at this level, which is TOTALLY lame, but our coach's wife (Ashlyn's 1st grade teacher) keeps the books and she said the score was 3-9.
Win or lose...they had a blast and that is what matters! Here's to another soccer season!
