The night of the last day of school a big group of boys got together for a homework burning party. They had a blast! The only fuel for the fire was papers from school and they were able to keep it going for a long time.
They even roasted marshmallows for s'mores on the fire.
And everybody brought camp chairs to watch Napoleon Dynamite on the side of their garage, while us Moms made homemade M&M ice cream. Blake was the only one who had seen the movie before, so it was great to hear them laugh at it and repeat all the one liners. The boys had a TON of fun. We are so glad that Blake has such a good group of boys to hang out with! There were 15 kids at the party, with a few kids who couldn't make it because of some other conflict....this was one of the MAIN reasons we moved back to the Northwest and are loving it!
