Last month we took Ashlyn out to try and learn to ride her bike without training wheels. Can you say DISASTER! We're talking TONS of tears and throwing TONS of fits.
So needless to say she was NOT very successful and had a VERY bad attitude the entire time and even after we got home that evening.
This afternoon we finally had time to take her out to try again. She wasn't thrilled about it, but promised not to cry, have a good attitude and that she'd try her best. What do ya know...
...it worked! She was sooo excited that she was able to do it so easily today.
She even go the concept of starting and stopping on her own. Way to be Ashlyn! It's funny that learning to ride a bike is such a hard thing and so traumatic for kids, but once you learn you never forget even if it's been 20 years since you've ridden one.
