Blake's team did soooo much better this week in their basketball game. We ended up winning this time instead of last week's TOTAL blow out. They even had their own uniforms that finally came in, don't they look sharp?
This league starts the game with a jump ball, something they didn't do in Georgia until the next level up. Blake was thrilled when he was given the honor and actually got the ball and passed it to a teammate for a quick 2 points, what a way to start the game out!
Blake was a LOT more aggressive this game, finally! I was given the same kid to guard the entire time, who was the kid who usually brought the ball down the court. Every time he'd get up in the kid's business and wouldn't let him past half court, forcing him to pass it to somebody else. By half time the kid was getting pretty annoyed, but Blake stuck with him.
Here he is blocking one of the kid's shots...hee hee! Maybe Blake has finally realized how to be aggressive in sports, keep your fingers crossed.
