Blake had his first football game Saturday. It was 95 degrees with close to 100% humidity! I ended up getting over heated and sick for the day just sitting in the bleachers (light headed, dizzy, nauseous, blurred vision, etc.) so I'm not sure how the boys made it through the game, but they won 13-6. Football isn't Blake's favorite sport to play since he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, but he's made huge improvements this year already...and at this age it's all about being out there and having fun. Notice how short his jersey is? He was the last one to get there and got what was left. They measured the boys and specifically order what size they needed. Blake was ordered a large. However, when they came in it was a free-for-all to get what numbers the boys wanted...Blake (who is the biggest kid on the team) got a small. It takes 2 people to get his jersey on/off of him because it's soooo tight. And they're suppose to tuck their jerseys in...how is he suppose to manage that, it's as close as a boys shirt can get to a halter top! It's gonna be a long season!
